Bow Valley Parkway
Mayfair is proud to sponsor the Cancervive Ride for Wellspring. Cancervive is an annual one-day bike ride through Banff National Park on the Bow Valley Parkway to raise money for Wellspring Calgary, a charity offering free programs and services to people living with cancer – including those diagnosed, caregivers, and kids.
This year’s ride will be held on September 10, 2022, and riders can choose from 25 km, 50 km, 75 km, or 110 km distances. The route starts and ends on paved bike trails and winds out and back on Highway 1A, which is only open to cyclists at the time of the event.
Cancervive is accessible to all different rider levels and abilities and is committed to an inclusive experience. Cyclists ride in small groups, so no one is left behind. This directly aligns with Wellspring’s mission to ensure no one faces cancer alone. From its humble beginnings back in 2005 until today, Cancervive has raised over $2.7 million for Wellspring Calgary and families living with cancer.

Mayfair is proud to partner with Knitted Knockers, and Knickers ‘n Lace as a team for the Calgary MUDGIRL run on September 3, 2022. In addition to the team, Mayfair will have a booth at the event to showcase our imaging services and hand out branded items to attendees.
The MUDGIRL run is an obstacle race dedicated to women and in support of breast cancer. For the past four years, MUDGIRL has been committed to supporting reputable foundations that fight against breast cancer in North America and has donated more than $300,000. The run consists of a 5 km course with 17+ obstacles to overcome. There is no timing and no obligation to complete all the obstacles. The sole purpose is to have fun, and it’s a great experience regardless of athletic ability.
Knitted Knockers is a charity that knits breast prosthetics for woman who have had a mastectomy or lumpectomy and are provided free of charge. All knockers are donated by volunteers and are a lightweight alternative to the silicone prosthesis.
