Darshan Bakshi

RADIOLOGIST
Dr. Bakshi has been with Mayfair since 2008 and has a sub-specialty in vascular and interventional radiology.

Dr. Bakshi is interested in all aspects of vascular and interventional radiology, including peripheral vascular disease, uterine artery embolization, and prostate artery embolization (PAE) – a novel, minimally invasive treatment for prostatic symptoms. Other conditions he has treated include popliteal entrapment syndrome, visceral artery aneurysm organ sparing therapy, varicoceles, and arteriovenous malformations. He is also actively involved in developing applications using mixed reality in interventional radiology.

Dr. Bakshi did his undergraduate medical training in India prior to training in internal medicine in the United Kingdom and obtaining his membership to the Royal College of Physicians. Subsequently, he trained in diagnostic imaging and obtained his fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists. He continued his training as a fellow in vascular interventional radiology in the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, United Kingdom, and completed a second fellowship in abdominal imaging and intervention at the Vancouver General Hospital.

In his spare time Dr. Bakshi enjoys mountain biking and trail running.
